Hi everyone,I have been accepted to YWAM Ternopil in western Ukraine!!!!!! I am very excited but also feeling a little nervous about going... not really sure why? I know that it will be good and that God wants to do big things in my life. Clearly it was all part of His plan. I will be leaving on March 24th, and my DTS begins on March 26th. I have to fly from JFK to Kyiv and then from Kyiv to Lviv. I will be met there by my DTS leader and taken to Ternopil, which is close to Lviv. I'm not sure what the plane will be like from Kyiv to Lviv, so I'm praying that it won't be too scary :) Well, that is all I really have for the time being, and I probably won't get a chance to update again before I leave. Please keep me in your prayers.

ReplyDeleteLet me tell something about Ternopil and Lviv. I'm originally from Ternopil, so may I tell you a little bit about it?
Don't worry about the plane from Kyiv to Lviv - if you'll fly by WizzAir, that should be Airbus planes - small and comfortable.
Lviv is pretty nice, as well as Ternopil - around 2h from Lviv by train or car. If you'll have free time - it can be interesting for you to travel in Ternopil region - there are a lot of castles and monasteries around Ternopil - Pochaiv, Kremenets, Zbarazh - you'll be pleasured :) Also on the south of Ternopil region you may visit karst caves - third largest caves in the world (all the tunnels are about 200 km long underground). I hope you'll like my city and will be happy to visit it again.
If you'll have some troubles - don't fell inconvenient to ask me :)
