$3.00 for lunch and dinner!

Hey all!
Well so far day 2 is going really well! Yesterday our team took the kids the park to play for a few hours. It was alot of fun. I'll post pictures later. All the kids call us Uncle and Auntie. It is SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!! I got up this morning at quarter to 6 because each morning one of us has to get up and quietly entertain the kids from 6-7:30.  Praise God for Youtube and Veggie Tales!!! They LOVED the videos. I think I probably watched close to every silly song with Larry. After we ate breakfast, we went over our plans for the day. Then we went to have worship/intercession in a nearby park. We got some VERY strange looks from the locals. They have a guitar here so I will be able to lead worship with Andrea. On our way home from the park, Yura and Andrea had to go to a market to get food for lunch and dinner. We went to this little market that was like and Indian version of Walmart :). Only difference was the sale signs, "Buy 2 get 7 free," or "buy 2 liters of Coca-Cola and get 1 kilogram of rice free." It was pretty strange for me. Anyway, the reason for the name of this post is that we spent $3 total buying enough food to make lunch and dinner. $3!!! I was in shock!!! Later after lunch, Yura, Andrea, and I will go to the market so Andrea and I can buy a Panjambi. This is traditional Indian outfit... a long dress-like shirt with a bright pattern on it, these pants that convert into shorts or a skirt depending on how you wear them, and a scarf for your shoulders. I want a Sari, but I just found out that all that is is a big piece of material wrapped around you to  make a skirt and a scarf over your shoulder with a shirt underneath. I don't think that that would be a good idea for me... I'd probably tie the skirt wrong and end up having it fall off or something. I don't wanna risk it :). Well I have to go. I'll update again tomorrow. Love and miss all of you. God bless!
